"Nothing is Impossible for God"

“But surely, nothing is too difficult for the Lord to do. At this time next year, I will return to you and Sarah will have a son.’”

Genesis 18:14 EASY

“You must remain in me, and my teaching must remain in you. Then you may ask for anything that you want. God will do it for you.”

John 15:7 EASY

“Jesus looked at them and he replied, ‘For people, it really is impossible. But God can do it. God can do everything.’”

Matthew 19:26 EASY

“Jesus looked at them and he replied, ‘For people, it really is impossible. But God can do it. God can do everything.’”

Mark 10:27 EASY

“There is nothing that God cannot do.’”

Luke 1:37 EASY

I really liked the DEVOS today. It was great reading over & over again and from many different places in scripture (& history), “God can do anything, nothing is impossible for Him.” 

I think we all “know” that… but do we REALLY know it? I mean, when things get difficult, do we know it? When our life doesn’t make any sense, do we know it? When we don’t know which way to go… do we know it?

Are our thoughts in line with the truth that God can do anything?

Do our prayers reflect the fact that nothing is impossible for Him?

Do we actually live each day believing that the God who spoke the universe into existence, the one who is the author & source of all life, the self-sufficient one who owns the earth & everything in it; do we live like HE is our Heavenly Father who loves us dearly and WANTS to meet all of our needs?! 

If I were honest, my answer is not as often as I’d like. I do know it, because I’ve seen Him do the impossible in my life over & over again. But many times my thoughts, prayers, & actions don’t fully reflect the truth of who Jesus is & what He’s done for me.😔

Father, forgive us for not fully recognizing that you can do anything. Help us to walk by faith. Give us the courage to believe for the impossible today. 🙏
